ok i got a idea but dont know if it will work i want to keep my stock head unit for now but want control of my eq and subs. ive looked at the rockford 360 and they are 300 to 500 bucks. but im only looking for temporary until i work out the details on a car pc and i may even keep this set up if it works out. heres my idea i want to use a line converter from either the front or rear speakers run a rca input to the front of the car into the eq then from the eq to the mono and 4 channel amp will this work?

well the cheapest and easiest way to set it up for now would be to go to walmart , your local audio shop,or rat shack to buy a cheap line level converter (usually around 10 to 15 dollars around here) and wire that to your factory deck and use it for now........it shouldn't sound to bad ran through the eq and such............the converters are easy to hook up.......just make sure you adjust the converters gains.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You might trip yourself up. You're saying run a LOC from the front or back and then into an EQ, then back out to your amps and then back out to your speakers. Run the LOC right after the deck, then to your EQ, then to your speakers. The way you typed it wouldn't work or if you're running a 4-channel amp for your mids and highs.
