Just bought a set of dual 4 ohm re audio se subs. I have a punch 801s that puts out 400 watts at 2 ohms at 2 channel, but puts out 800 watts bridge at 4 ohms. The subs are 600rms each Should I put 400 watts to them each or can they handle 800 watts each bridged? Which is the best sounding and most efficient my amp will last long? Here's my amps specs and speaker configurations ....http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=507 http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-ohm_2ch.jpg

Run them like this:

2_4ohmDVC_4ohm.gif

They will each get 400W (800Wx1@4Ω)
