i am installing a 2400 watt pyle amp and 2 dual 12" woofers. since i am using a stock head unit i bought a iec auloc converter. i have everything installed but i am not getting sound from my subs. do i have to install the converter in the dash or can i just steal signal from the rear speakers like i tried to do but had no luck. i took the two gray wires and put them to the side that should be positive and the white to the neg. then repuged the speakers. did same for both sides. i took the rca cables plugged them in and took that to the amp. i am also running a push button switch to turn off and on my amp if that helps any. i got no sound when i hooked up everything else. amp is on. i heard the woofer click so they are on but i got no sound. any ideas would be greatly appreicated. thanks

Wait a minute. You ran both white wires to negative and both gray wires to positive?

By any chance, do you mean a white and a white with black stripe, and a gray and a gray with black stripe?

Here's your problem:

From the LOC:

White----left channel positive

White/black---left channel negative

Gray---right channel positive

Gray/black---right channel negative.

You screwed up the LOC wiring. Fix it and it should work.
