wiring problem!!

Hey.. can anyone PLEASE help me out.. i juss installed my first system.. in a... obviously nissan240sx 92model... (auto).. anyway... after wiring it... the lights for my dash board.. for the meter and speedometer stuff.. turn off when my head lights are on.. and when i turn my headlights on.. my dashboard lights turn off.. also.. the antenna comes up when i turn the headlights off.. i'm not sure i'm making any sense to you guys right now.. but if i am.. please help me out~.. if you have any questions.... or suggestions.. please.. email me ... chosamyul@hotmail.com... i'm so stressed over this.. it totally sux balls.... i didn't want to send off the car to some bestbuy or circuit city cause i didn't feel like paying the outrageous price for installing audio equipment.. but now it looks like i might end up paying more.. juss to fix these problems.. please help me out~.. thanks

describe your installation steps you took....

Like which power did you use to power the audio and which fuseblock did you use (sounds to me you used all existing cables and blocks and did not place a new cable from battery to amps which own fuses..)

Yea you might have it wired wrong but you also may need a bigger alternator i am not sure how much power you aRE running so i don't know how to answer good luck

If you ground it using the "dimmer" wire, it will cause your dash lights to do all sorts of crazy things. All you have to do to find this is pull out your radio and check the wire with a meter. Put the meter on and check for voltage. Then turn on your lights and see if you get power then. If you do, you have it grounded wrong. Find the wire that doesn't have power on it with lights on and 0.0 ohms of resistance to ground. When you fix that, everything "should" be good.
