Wiring Problem.

I went over to my friend's house to help him hook up a 2ohm DVC JL15 to a crunch 2 channel. The problem is I can't figure out how to wire it to 4 ohms. Every time I did, the sub would work. (bridged off the amp it can be wired to 1 but it gets hot, so I doubt its stable). Help?

POS to NEG (One cord from one side to the other)

POS to terminal to Amp +

NEG to terminal to Amp -

This will give you a 4 ohm load
