I have a pioneer cd player in my car. I have some boombox speakers that i want to put in the trunk for a ghetto setup because i have no money!
With my pioneer cd player, it says that i can control the bass so it goes to the back speakers and have the higher freqs go to the front speakers.
So I wired up my back speaker wires to the woofers in the boombox speakers and now i want to wire up the high freq speakers in the boombox to my front speaker wires.
The pioneer manual says that the operating range is 4-8ohms. Would connecting the extra speakers to the front output hurt the cd player or the speakers with the lowered ohms?
