1. Current vehicle is a 1998 Mercury Villager.
2. System I am installing is a
JVC KD-G710
The problem I am running into-- well there are a few.
1. there are 23432423423 wires
- the car has controls in the backseat to adjust the radio and volume
- it has a factory installed (FORD) 10 disc cd changer
I have the old radio out and detached. I can find the battery wire.. However I cannot find the wire the should have power to it when the car is turned on... I've tried using a voltage meter and i've used a meter with the light that goes on... and no luck. I can get a pick if it would help anyone out. I am so lost and i've been without my stereo for over 2 weeks now. =( I've had my cousins- who know a lot about car stereos- look at it- and they are just as dumbfounded as myself.
Can anyone help me or possibly lead me in the right direction? thanks in advance.
