Wiring NewB! Couple quick questions

I know this is a serious car audio forum, but I am just getting into car audio as money permits, which is few and far between between the Gov. pays like chit, and all my other bills, so I just ordered this box, http://subthump.com/ctbultra.htm , and I would like to wire it myself, as I like to do most stuff on my truck myself, and I dont know if the monkeys at the audio shop will do it to my standards, but I dont know much about the systems itself. I know that the amp(still undetermined) needs power, I'm not gonna be running huge power, so i think 4 gauge will be fine, so the amp needs power, as well as RCA cables, and what do I need to turn the amp on? Is there a particular wire to do this with? The head unit is an older Pioneer 6700, what all wiring is needed to completely wire the amp? Any help, guidance, or schematics are appreciated. Thanks

Brandon

Read through it. That website helps a lot.

The amplifier is turned on by a small seperate wire (Remote turn on), so pretty much when you turn your ignition to ACC/ON, the head unit turns on, then the head unit sends a signal through the remote turn on wire to power on the amplifer. It's actually quite simple.

Some RCA cables you can buy have a built-in remote turn on wire, but it's not really necessary.

Also, how many watts do you plan on using?
