So, i currently have one amp that is grounded at this point with 8awg wire..

And im going to be wiring my second amp in a couple of days, but im wondering, if its ok to use the same ground as that one ^. like just put the new ring terminal and wire on this ground aswell?

However, on the forum for my car, (Vauxhall Corsa C, lol) people use this point to ground there amp.

And there is these points all along the boot.

Just wondering the best way to go about grounding the amps. Should i ground both on these holes, one on each hole? Is that okay to do?

Or just keep the 1st ground, and upgrade the wire to 4awg, or possibly 0awg, and run a distro block splitting to two 4awgs.

One more thing, Do i need to upgrade my battery terminals?

Thats what i currently have, could i just put a ring terminal on that or should i upgrade them?

Sorry for such nooby questions

Thanks for any help.

For the location you're grounding at specifically, I can't say much about it, I dunno where it is on the car. I'd take a DMM to it and see how much resistance is there. Make sure it's sanded down real good. And always match your ground wire to your power wire. So if the power wire is 8 gauge, then the ground should be 8 gauge. When you get a second amp, yes, it is ok (and usually recommended) to ground to that same spot.

Currently, I have 2 separate runs for my amps, one of 8 gauge, and one of 4 gauge. Because like you, I bought them at separate times. Depending on how much power you will be running, it may be better to do the 0 gauge to a distro block like you said. Or it may just make the installation cleaner.

As for the battery terminal, it looks like crap, but it's still getting the job done yes? I'd clean it with baking soda, water, and a toothbrush. If you want it to look better, then get some new terminals.

Cheers for your reply, cleared a few things up. I think im gonna do the 0awg to 2x4awg distro block.

And yeah the battery terminals are horrible haha im gonna clean them up soon.
