ok well i got two 12" 04 L7's, they are dual 4, hooked up to an orion 2500d at 1 ohm and they def. cant handle it because i am smelling voice coil whenever i turn them up so im going to wire them at 4 ohm, when i wire an L7 to 4 ohm, which coils go from the sub to the box(2nd coil, or 1st?)

2 DVC drivers with Voice Coils in Series / Parallel

Connecting the two voice coils of each driver in series (+ to -) and the drivers themselves in parallel (+ to +, etc.) will result in the following impedances:

Dual-6 Ohm Subwoofers: 6 Ohms

Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofer: 4 Ohms

Dual-2 Ohm Subwoofer: 2 Ohms

Dual-1.5 Ohm Subwoofer: 1.5 Ohms

ok does this mean i connect the + from the first voice coil to the - on the first voice coil or do i connect it to the - on the 2nd coil?
