so here's the deal. i have the w200, h701 and the the pac tr7 (video bypass module) to hook up. i haven't had much experience installing HUs and i was wondering what would be the most effective way hook all these up in terms of power and ground wires.
the h701 is going to be located in the trunk so i can ground it to the back of my seat then splice the power wire into like 8 gauge to fit my distribution block.
then solder the tr7 ignition, the alpine wiring harness and my wiring harness together and then hook it up to the factory harness.
then solder the tr7 ground, the alpine wiring harness ground and my wiring harness ground together and then hook it up to the factory harness.
would this be ok? any help is appreciated. thanks!
