Wiring midbass out of phase

I've heard things out of phase before, like when hookin speakers up to factory wiring , and I dont know which is + and which is -, so I just give it a stab. I know it sounds funky, and the TB's don't sound like that. Their output is just very compromised.

ahh fawk it, im gonna go outside and do it now lol

here's the result:

It's kinda weird... when I wire one out of phase, the midbass sounds noticably cleaner, but the output isn't quite as much as when they're in phase. hmmmm

right now, theyre crossed at 40hz to 250hz at -18db/oct because they're doing sub(ish) / midbass duty while I'm subless. Once I get the sub in, they'll be doing 80 to 250
