Wiring midbass out of phase

I've noticed that when I'm sittin in the van with the doors shut, and the subs facing towards each other, their output is pretty good. But when I open one door, they seem lots louder. Do you think it's worth it to wire one of them out of phase and see if that improves output?

Huh?

Are you talking about subs or midbass?

Also, it's called pressurizing the cabin. Your vehicle is acting like a GIGANTIC bandpass enclosure. That's why it's louder when you open a door.

I'm rather confused also...

Not sure why wiring the midbasses out of phase is going to make the subs louder.

And x2 on pressurizing the cabin. A lot of cars are louder when you roll the windows down or open the door.

alright, im using the 6x9 subs for midbass. So yeah, it's midbass duty, but I was wondering if one was canceling out the other because they're facing towards each other, and wiring one out of phase could correct that

You mean one being in each door... opposite eachother?

Why would you wire them out of phase...?
