wiring kits

Lets see how it looks on paper...

16year old + No Job = No money to keep changing the system out

But on a real note, I just started my 1st job @ 17 and man has it opened many possiblities of what I can get now. Im spending about 600-700 on my system (audio and video), which is one months paycheck working an average 25hrs a week (during school). I suggest you try to find a job around town, you dont know what it feels like getting paid and being able to buy whatever you want not having to count your pennies. I cant wait untill all my stuff arrives...

Also, I had that amp it was great. But sold it to a friend when I wanted to "upgrade" to my bigger system. That was about a year ago and I still miss that amp and bass in general...

yeah, i play competitive soccer in the summer though, and sports doing school.... so im gone in tournaments basically every weekend, and i do ACCELERATION during the week.... basically right now i'm gettin money through reffing soccer games

right, doens't come with speaker wire, and i don't need 4 gauge wiring, so i figure coceptz price is like 20+ shipping for everything ill prolly just go with that

also i have another question what is an amp fuse.... on the amplifier it says only 20 amp fuse rating... on the kit it says fuse holder with 50 amp fuse????

That means that the fuse on the power wire, also known as the inline fuse will not allow more then 50amps of power to go to the amp. Now the fuse on the amp, also known as the on board fuse will not allow more then 20amps to pass through the amp potientially damaging it. I dont know how many times, well about 3 I blew that on board fuse and it still worked, and I blew the inline a couple times. It does not matter that the fuse is bigger then the one on your amp. Just might want to order a few 50amp fuses from knu, since they cost like 7bux for 3 @ Best Buy and why not just order them while you can for cheap...

ok, those are pretty cheap.... what do they do?? do they decrease the amps of power going to the amp??? i know that sounds confusing.... i am confused....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Keeps the amp from getting "volted" with too much volts from the battery if there is a jolt in the alternator or in just in the electrical system. You will know when that happens by when the fuse pops (which is good because it protected your amp).

The fuses dont decress the amps power, maby if you get a too small of a fuse then it might...

In somthing like this, basically called a fuse holder or inline fuse. It comes with your kit. And one wire runs though one end and out the other, within 18" of the battery. Best place to mount it is on top or beside the battery...
