wiring kits

i'll be running an edk off of a profile ca600m, approximately 420 watts.... all the 4 gauge wiring kits seem to be for around 1000-2000 watts, 8 gauge seem to be for less, people have been telling me 4 gauge, but 8 gauge seems to work better for price, availability, and wattage... any suggestions??

4 guage will run anything from 600~1000 watts good. I'm almost positive 8 guage will be enough for you.

alright, thanks.... i believe i've changed my mind and i'm now just going to go with the JBL300.1 just to keep the warranty on the sub intact, just in case.... i'm thinkin that that doesn't change anything, also if i have a ported box, will it matter that the JBL has no SSF?? becuase i've heard people say that with the low amount of watts the SSF doesn't matter as much...

You should really consider this amp....it has a SSF....better build quality than the JBL (IMO), and it won't void the warranty...

IMO it does have better build quality then the JBL, but still has no SSF...

Well at least the 600D doesnt, the 800D and 1000D do

You dont need the 4 gauge for under 400watts. But if you feel that you are going to upgrade in the future then get it...

well, that's what i was thinkin, goin for the 8 gauge, but then people said i should just use 4

edit: i don't know if i plan on upgrading, if i do it will be far in the future anyways

well, the thing is i don't have any money to keep changing my system.. just turned 16.. no job... do the math
