wiring issues...

so, if you have seen my build log you will have noticed that I burnt up a woofer... well heres my problem. I have 4 d2 sa12s, on my first box I wired the woofers in series, them in parallel but in pairs inside the enclosure, then I paralleled the pairs outside of the enclosure for a 1 ohm load, Now, The first woofers in line for power (front two) got hot and stinky, while the rear ones stayed cool. Now, my original thought was that the front two were loading differently because they were close to the end of the port, so I built a new box



this one. Now, I wired the coils in series, and then I wired all of the woofers in parallel for a 1 ohm load. like this



now after minimal playtime, I melted the coil right off of former on the first woofer in line for power which is labeled woofer 4 in the diagram above, all of the other woofers stayed cool. Now, for both situations, the first woofers to get warm/blow were the first ones in line for power... Anyone had this happening before? And no, I am not clipping, and I followed the wiring diagram exactly. So what could be going on?

You're doing something terribly wrong or have a serious wiring problem. My guess would be that first sub (and the broken one) is the wrong impedance, possibly you got a D1?, or you have a continuity issue in the speaker wiring connecting other paralleled subs. Assuming you have them wired as pictured each sub should see the same power give or take a few percent for manufacturing tolerance or uneven loading in the box.

nah I figured it out lol. took a day but I put 1 wire in the wrong spot. I dont want to take the time to explain it but thanks for the help lol. now I just need a recone :/
