The m500 is a nice amp but honestly you'll wanna get a 1 ohm amp for future upgrading, a 2 ohm amp locks you into a limited amounts of options. Look to the future and not the now, say you wanna upgrade all you'll need to do is buy another sub and build a box, if you buy the m500 now and want to upgrade you'll have to buy a new or another m500 along with the sub and box and thats alot more than im sure you'll want to spend.

also how do you know what to chose on the amp 1 ohm 2 ohm 4 ohm? My sub is 4 ohm so how do you change it to 2 ohm?
Most websites will have an amp's rated power listed.

Here's how you wire a 4 ohm dvc sub to 2 ohms.
