Wiring for 3 amps

Hey I'm working on my bro in-laws suv and he has 2 jl audio 300/1 amps and 1 kenwood amp(300W RMS). His wiring is all messed up he has 2 4gauge wires coming from the battery. 1 4gauge is going to a cap then from there to the kenwood. then hes got the other 4 gauge wire going to another cap and from the cap to a distribution block where he splits it to 2 8 gauge wires for the JL amps.

I wanna simplify it some and also get rid of the caps since they are not doing anything but taking up space and i just finished doing THE BIG 3. What i wanted to know is will running both 4 gauge wires to a single distribution block then splitting from there 3 8 gauge pieces for each of the amps be good enough to power them?

The JL's are just powering his front and rear components. and the kenwood is going to be used to run a pair of RE 8's.
