okay, i have a stock headunit in my 95 infiniti g20, with two 4x6 alpines in the front, and two 6.5 alpines in the back. the car also has two tweeters in the front, I was thinking i want a powered system like the kicker hideaway, they say you can hook up the thing to the rear speakers, then to power, but I heard you want a low input voltage, so i was wondering if I could tap into one of my tweeters for the amp then hook it up to power?? i have no clue about this stuff so plz dont be too hard on me! any other advice or anything better I could do? also, i only have a cd changer, all my friends have a tape player so they use the adapter, so is there a way to hook my ipod up to the stock system without going overboard and pulling wires and the whole headunit out??? thanks :/

I found a little subwoofer that has a high level input, does that mean I can hook it up to my rear speakers without frying it? its a (Dual SBP8A 160 Watts Single 8-Inch Amplified Bandpass)

no dont do that i mean if you want get that sub but i wouldnt suggest that look for a used 8 if you want a 8 and build your own box i bet u can find a descent 8 inch sub on here for around the same price and it would get way louder than that thing also if you want a sub you need an amp.

I don't need something that rattles my car appart, i want something decent though. since amps need a low level input, i was wondering if i could wire the amp into the wires that go to the tiny tweeters in the front of the car then wire in the power to the amp then connect the sub with a box

No. You can't use the tweeter signal for your subwoofer. That's the exact opposite. And any of those "hide-away" systems are pretty awful. The only ones that might sound ok are the JL ones. But they are priced about 5x what they are worth.

As for getting your MP3 player working with your car, an FM transmitter is your only bet.
