Wiring diagram

I've been having a very difficult time trying to find a wiring diagram for the radio harness in 2003 Silverado with Bose.

Yes I've tried Chilton, Haynes, even the online Wiring diagram stuff. Nothing matches up.

Any help or links other than going to the dealer to get the wiring diagram?

TIA

Darin

First off you will have to buy a GMOS-04 harness inorder for it to work right. Oce you buy the GMOS-04 all you have to do is match color for color. The harness will have two sets or rca's that you will plug into the headunits front and rear out.

x2 to wat he said.
unless you plan on putting in your own amps and speakers and want to hide teh factory deck someplace.
Haha, I remember the first GMOS harness that came out and you had to hide that double din some where in the car that was some shit.

I'm planning on bypassing all the factory wiring and running dedicated speaker wiring to all the speakers and amps. Only need a diagram to get 12v constant, 12v switched, and ground since the factory harness isn't yellow for 12v, red for ignition.

I'm currently using a GMOS adapter with the 2 sets of pre-outs, but it doesn't sound the greatest.

Yeah thats beccause Boss in cars sucks balls. If you currently have the GMOS in there get your constant, and switched power from there for ground just take an i-let and a self taper and screw it into the metal fram that make up the underdash.

ok, thanks. I currently am using another switched source for power. For some reason the GMOS wasn't sending the switched 12v through to the headunit.

Well, just to give you my back ground, I was a Level 3/4 mechanic for Chrysler, so I do know my way around a vehicle and have the assorted collection of tools to match.

I was looking for the diagram to help pin point the correct wiring. I've always hated probing the connectors trying to get the correct wire that I need.

Level A,B,C is used by ASE. Level 4 is the highest trained.

The dealership closed its doors 2 months ago. So no, we don't have All Data.

But I have looked at it before for the wiring. Its too vague. No better than a Chilton's manual.

bigaudio.....

No On start, but I do have the correct adapter. It does work fine, just want to bypass the Bose stuff
