there is no such thing as 0/1.

1/0 is the correct way of writing it. this is pronounced "one ott"

2/0 is pronounced two ott, and so on.

Because there are 4 different levels of 0 gauge wire, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0. Also, it is said as one-aught, two-aught etc.

4/0 is the thickest, although i have seen 5 ott and 6 ott. 1/0 is the smallest.

4/0 is the thickest to use the terminology, after that wire is generally measured in mils or circular mils.

remember though, not all wire is made the same. lots of companies cheap you out on actual surface area by less strands and more jacket.

there is ott guage and 0 guage i think. not for sure on that but i say that online some place.

you want something that is 100% tinned copper.

a lot of the cheaper wire is mostly made of aluminum other than copper.

knukonceptz also has some that is 1.75 a foot but it has a lot of aluminum

i have some extra memphis ott that is very good. it is also 100% tinned copper and looks almost the same as the knukoncepz. i am selling it for 2.50 a foot cause i have extra but i will prolly have it sold by the time u message me... if u wanted any
