wiring diagram (is this correct?)

hello all,

I'm just about done gathering the pieces for my noob system. I've already run the main power and signal wires thru the car (i'll ground when I install the rest of the system). With some guidance from a layout I found at Cardomain.com I drew up a diagram of my wiring plan for a two amp (+ cap) system.

I basically just need to know if I've covered everything and have things hooked up properly.

I forgot to add it in the diagram, but each amp holds 2 30A fuses so I used a 120A at the battery.

Thanks, but can someone please help me understand why I need two distro blocks on the power line? I know the first one is to step down & split the 4awg to 8awg but coming out of this block is an 8awg which is fed to a second distro block with fused outputs that lead to both amps. My question is, if the second fused distro block can accept 4awg and send out 8awg also, why is it necessary to have the first unfused one?

You don't need two dblocks, just work it with a single that ahs what you need..

the second one after your battery looks to be a ground distro block for your positive wire, you dont need that, start from your batt (poositive) fuse it within a foot, run it to the trunk to a fused distro block and split it out to 2, 1 for 1 amp the other for the other amp, you also dont really need the ground distro block either for your ground wires, just run the ground from your amps and cap to one grounding location, and make them as short as possible, you dont need to run them all to a block then to a ground

I have made one up before just using pics I find on the Internet. Then use a graphics program like Photo Shop or Picture it. I used Picture it. Worked just fine for what I needed.

I grabbed the pics from Google image search & Crutchfield, tweaked some in Photoshop and put it all together in Powerpoint.
