wiring config for 2 dual 2ohm??

I'm looking at http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp and It only shows 2 configs for 2 speakers with 2ohm dual voice coils.. What would i get if i wired all of them parallel? Is that even possible?

So i'm getting a .5 load if wired parallel.. How can a 1ohm stable amp run these speakers at .5 load??

Here's the deal... 2 Kicker L5's wired parallel to a 1500w Soundstream. Explain how this amp is not overheating..

Thats why people blow crap up and complain, most amps cant go below their stable ohm. But some amps are built strong and can do it.

I dont know if u have that setup yet, but it is possible that ur not using the amp to its full potential (say 100% volume all the time) so it can take it, but its still not a good idea.

Or

If u didnt do the install urself, its possible its wired to 2 ohms or even a 8 ohm load on the amp.

it's actually one of my friends but he's been running it at .5 for a few months.. The amp hardly gets hot.. Wierd..

are u sure its at .5? if its at 8 ohms it'd probably never get hot since it's such a high resistance.

if each speaker is wired in a series first (u would have two 4 ohm loads) than wired in a parallel u would end up with a 2 ohm load on the amp, which is probably what he ment.

I saw the speakers for myself. Their def wired parallel all the way to the amp..
