Wiring components (question) ???

I have tweets and coaxs already installed in my doors. They are wired from my amp to the factory wiring in the doors.

When wiring up the comps do I need to have a separate speaker wire to the woofer and one for the tweet coming from the crossover, per door? Because right now the tweets and coaxs are wired together, left side and right side from the amp (not seperated mids and highs like diagramed on the crossover).

Is there an easier way than running new wires or do I have to run another set of speaker wires to make these comps sound like there suppose to? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it gose..

output from amp gose into crossover input. then the crossover has 2 outputs. tweet and woofer.

you take the tweet output from the crossover to the tweeter.

then the woofer output from the crossover to the woofer.

I understand that, but I have only one wire running to the doors now powering the tweet and the mid. My question is do I have to run(install) a second speaker wire to my door.

yes. unless you put the crossover in the door.

You should avoid that if at all possible. It gets wet in there!

mine was alright unless the window was rolled down while raining/snowing. i've since put them behind the deck.

I ran wire from the amp to the factory wiring that is behind the dash then used the factory wiring through the door jam,cut off the stock plug and used those wires to feed the crossovers....I was able to put them in a pocket between the door panel and the door because of the way the door is shaped...and then of course the wires from the crossover to the woofer and from the crossover to the tweeter. hope that makes sense.

Yeah you put them in a place where they'll stay dry in the door, so that's fine.
