wiring components in series or parallel legit?

Hey,

I have two pairs of component speakers. I am going to run them off a four channel amp, each channel going to a tweeter/mid. but...

Can I wire the components in series or in parallel so that I only need a two channel amp and I can run one sets of components off each channel at 2 ohms?

I remember reading that you cant do that with speakers but i dunno. Thanks

ya thats true. But i would be running a set in each of my front doors so I'm fine with that.

So can i wire 2 crossovers parallel so the ohm load the amp sees is goes from 4ohm to 2ohm?

I am not sure on it but don't really thing it would be a problem.
