Wiring/capacitor question...

I've searched about capacitors but I can't come up with an answer. So anyways.... I'm planning on running about 1200-1400 watts rms soon, and I'm also doing the "big 3" with 0 gauge wiring, and installing a Kinetik 1400. I am running the stock Honda alternator and I have all 4 gauge power wire going to the back where theres a 1.5 farad capacitor. Is the capacitor and 4 gauge wiring large enough to support the power? Or should I just run the power wire to a distribution block in the trunk and then to the amps instead of the capacitor? Some people are saying they aren't worth having.
