experiencing engine noise, never had b4

last night i installed a new amp from pre-existing wires ran from my last amp. it was a basic drop-in operation. however im experiencing engine noise through the sub. seems like interference. the rest of the speakers do not have these systems.

its a low rumble noise that mirrors the sound of the engine.

also i have both my amps and battery in my trunk in 1 central ground, is this a bad thing?

Depends... How long is the ground wire coming from the amp, and is the connection to bare metal? It sounds to me like it is a grounding issue, try moving the ground positions to different spots to see if it will help. Try splitting up the grounding points. located problem. left channel rca is going bad. so i left just the right and it sounds just as it did b4, absolutely no noise, very clean bass.

im not sure but mine went bad befor i was using them on a/v for my tv and it will show lines when wher ei hook another one up it doesnt unless its somthing else any ideas?
