Wiring a Metrik MTA-80 Subwoofer Powered off of AC? How?

So I bought this Metrik MTA-80 for $30 today and the only thing wrong is that the power cord is busted up.

Now obviously this is a strange request but how would I go about being able to run this off of AC power (wall plug in a home for instance)? I've read somewhere before where it's possible to run things like this off of computer power supplies but I don't remember where.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section or something else but I really don't know where else to ask this. Any help would be appreciated!

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
