Wiring a HU with no harness or anything...

OK I want to put a HU in my 86 Toyota pickup, but theres no wiring at all for a radio for some odd reason. How can I wire it so it works? Just run the ground, and the power to like a fuse or something?

find a fused constant+, switched, Ill. ground it. then speaker wires., etc.

Really dont need Illumination either...unless you want it.

or your HU requires it.

So if I wanted to hook the power to a fuse couldnt I just run it to the pos on the battery as well? With a switch?
