did you have to pre-charge that cap?on my tsunami cap, the + is hooked up to the + terminal on the cap and the + on the amp is hooked up to that, and the - on the cap is grounded to the frame and the - on the amp is hooked to the - on the cap

just put bat + to cap + and put cap - to ground location or to - on bat
I dont think so I just hooked it up and everything worked fine. But at first my lights would dim a little bit when the bass hit when it was first installed and the voltage display would stay on even with the car off, so I came home from school and the display was off and the lights didnt dim anymore. Everything works fine now.did you have to pre-charge that cap?
