Wiring a 1606D hifonics to less than 1 ohm

I wouldn't go below 1 ohm if I were you. If this is your choice for an amp (not knocking your choice, I just ordered one too) then I would assume that your electrical and wiring aren't top notch.

1/0 and whats basicly a D3100 in the back by the box

i can pick up the sub i want right now in the classifieds for $150 D3515 only problem is its a D1 and i only have room for 1 15. Amp would be seeing .4-.6 of an ohm

i think im going to have to go a different route

going from 1600wrms on 2 12'sto 800wrms on 1 15.... uhh no

and yes DVC

The reason for the switch is i have too much power to my 12's

buying 1 sub is cheaper than 2
I agree with your response, but you need a different amp. There are only 2 options really......choke your 15 or spend some cash.
