wiring 4 ohm dvc subs into a 2 ohm load..

is there any advantage running a 4 ohm over the 1 ohm? I am trying to figure out how to setup my 2 DVC 4 ohm subs, I have to decide on what amp to buy.

i think there may be a THD difference (lower ohm load=higher THD?? i could be wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif), but other than that, i dont think so

As you're shopping for amplifiers keep in mind that since a pair of DVC 4 Ohm sub can be wired to a final nominal load of 4 Ohms you can also look to 2-channel amps that make the power level you need when operated in mono bridged configuration. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
