Wiring 4 ohm DVC and 4 ohm SVC to 2 Channel Amp??

Haha okay but how do i wire the Eclipse to the Amp still. the Amp is not 2 ohm stable when bridged so is the only way i can power the eclipse to that amp is by having a 8 ohm resistance? How much power would i be losing?

Thanks

Ok well i was taking a look at the wiring of the voice coil config I found out that its actually the 88120 DVC not the 88120 Ti DVC which is a bummer. Im sure its still better over the Rockford. Ok so right now the wires are set up like: http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/1DVC_4-ohm_2ch.jpg

Because of the 8 ohm load i think im loosing alot of potential out of the sub becuase the SVC rockford fosgate p2 sounds much louder. Is there any other way to wire the eclipse sub could be wired? My amp is 2 ohm stable for stereo, but not when bridged.

Thanks

*Edit*

Can i run each voice coil to a seperate channel on my amp?

Your amp would be very underpowered to run those subs very loud if you chose to wire it that way. The speakers are 500rms and the amp is 250x2 @4 ohm.

Maybe you could sell that amp and Rockford sub and get a bigger more powerful amp?

The power you'll get at 4 ohms stereo is the same as 8 ohms bridged.

the amp's not 1000w either. It uses a pair of 25A fuses so it can't be much more than 500-600w rms bridged at 4.

150-200x2 at 4 ohms stereo, making it 300-400 bridged at 8.

Ok well im deciding to sell the Rockford Fosgate and get a better amp for the eclipse. Is the Eclipse 500 watts RMS for each voice coil or is it 250 watts rms each voice coil? Also which amp would you recommend getting for the Eclipse and would it make a significant difference over the M700XE amp?

Thanks

Again - with the dvc 4 the most you can get out of that amp is 300-400w rms.

I would pick up the Eclipse xa1200 at sonicelectronix for $130 shipped. It wouldn't make a huge difference, but it's a much higher quality amp than the MA and would be more efficient as well.

With the mono amp you'd rewire the sub for 2 ohms:
