just wondering how i would go about connecting (4) amps to a HU without using a splitter. i have a bc5500 that will take up 2 channels i have (1) c1100.4 that will take up 4 channels i'll have (1)c1600.2 thatll take up 2 channels and i have a zapco ref 360.4 for tweets thats 4 channels... do i need an equalizer or something? WTF how can i go about hooking all this up WITHOUT SPLITTERS, i need some pro help out there guys PLEASE PLEASE

pretty much trying to figure out liek how the heck people have all these crazy mids and highs and bass amps hooked up, obviously you gotta have something connected to your headunit with a bunch of channels on it so your not splitting your rca voltage

wait a second? can i just link any of the amps that have the output rcas together or do they have to be matching amplifiers? like can i link the bc5500 to the c1600.2 then the c1600.2 to the c1100.4? and then just run the zapco off the HU rcas?

you may want to step back and rethink your setup, it sounds like you want it to be active but have not mentioned anything about the HU or crossovers and it sounds like it may be beyond what your ready to wire/setup. try a passive setup first with a 4ch amp and a sub amp it will be a lot easier on you and your wallet.

Sub out to sub. Front out to tweet amp. Rear to other amp then connect them from there. Idk if I would connect the c1100 to the sub amp due to running the lpf. Maybe I am wrong

ive done the install on my brother passive setup and it wasnt this difficult, its honestly just sounding so much more difficult when im trying to spell it out for you guys. im not stupid when it comes to it.. and yes its going to be ran active, but do i need to be using the pre-outs on the amps to link other amplifers to it? maybe connect the bc5500 from Sub out on Hu, then Connect the C1100.4 from the other 4 channels on Hu, then link the c1600.2 off of the 5500 using the Pre-outs, and link the zapco amp off the c1100.4 using its Pre-outs? since what ive been trying to say there isnt enough channels on the back of the head unit to link all this up without..

the c1600.2 will be playing only 4 10s in the doors and the c1100.4 will be playing only (8) 6.5s. zapco will be playing (4) FT1s and the bc5500 will be playing the psi 15s. AND YES I AGREE THIS ISNT THE SIMPLEST OF INSTALLS BUT IVE DONE EVERYTHING BUT SCREW AROUND WITH STUFF LIKE THIS EVERYTHING BEFORE THIS IS SIMPLE AND OBVIOUS. LINKING AMPS, AND SETTING UP MORE THAN 2-3 AMPS IS A LOT MORE DIFFICULT BUT IF I DONT TACKLE IT, I WILL NEVER LEARN.

the pre out or line outs on the amps are for linking multiple amps together without breaking down the source signal. so do the bc 5500 off the sub outs, the c1100.4 off the other 4 preouts from the deck, then use the line out rca's off the c 1100.4 to the rca in for the c 1600.2 ,then the line out rca's off the c 1600.2 to the zapco, here you'll have to use the splitters.no way around it .all done

okay so use splitter off the c1600.2 to the zapco? and wow man thanks wasnt sure if it was okay to link all those amps together, and had completey forgot about using the output rcas from the amplifiers!! JESUS ya dont know how much ive stressed and tried explaining my problem to people.. thanks a lot man i appreciate it..

yeah see ive looked at that, and tried finding people doing it, but when ya type that in, its always people doing the "master/slave" thing, say: connecting two bc5500s at 2 ohms to get 11000 watts. that kinda stuff.. glad someone finally saw where i was going with this, im sure everyones had a time it was so much simpler in their head... whew huge weight lifted off my shoulders, i get too into this stuff overlook it, and bury myself in a hole of confusion and like stated above i need to STOP, STEP BACK, and RE-THINK. I APPRECIATE EVERYTHING
