Wiring 3 Subs to 1 ohm?

I'm going to be getting 3 new subs, and I want to run them @ 1 ohm. I understand I need 1.5 or 6 DVC subs which are really hard to come by. So I have a few perdicaments.

I could get three 2 DVC subs and get a 1.33 ohm load or I could get three 4 DVC subs and have a 0.67 ohm load. Would it be better to be slightly over or slightly under on the load? They will be in a sealed box by the way.

Could I run different impedence subs to get a 1 ohm load (i.e. TWO 2 DVC subs and ONE 1 DVC)?

no mixing impedences..but if u do 3 and go with the.667 final load, cuz make the box a tad bigger to boost imp rise and youll be fine.

I would definitely go with the 1.33 route. W/o even knowing what amp - the power output between 1.3 and 1.0 would be so minimal it's not worth messing with. And trying to compensate for impedance with box volume is a shot in the dark at best.

I don't understand why people insist on risking their amps by running them at less than intended impedance for little, if any, gain.
