Is it possible to wire 3 dual 4ohm subs down to near 1 ohm?
I was at an audio shop and the guy said I could wire them 2 in series 1 in parallel (or was it 2 parallel and 1 in series?)
I said it didnt sound right, so he took 3 dual 4's out, Is jumpers and speaker wire and wired them as such, hooked up the meter and it read 1.3ohms. So I know it can be done, but i think it wouldnt work because the subs would see different powers. He told me that you just power to one and it will distribute through them all since its a 1.3 ohm circuit they will all see the same power.
IS THIS TRUE? Or is 2.67 the best I can get too?
