Wiring 2 Subs

Currently I'm using a 800 Watt Sony AMP

I have a JBL GT4 12 inch sub in my trunk, and I may change that to 2 12 inch Sony subs.

How will the wiring connected to the JBL sub change when I wire the 2 12 inch subs?

Also....will this be an "upgrade"...Or a waste of money? I know you all hate Sony, but I like my amp.

JBL > Sony. Stick with the GT4.
