wiring 2 dual 2 vc subs to .5 ohms

alright im wondering how you do this, do you wire each of them to 1 ohm then run them to the amp thrugh both sets of positive and negative terminals on the amp? its an aq2200 btw

yep.

Parallel - Parallel. That means all +'s touch a + on the amp... and all the -'s touch the -'s on the amp.

Probably -- for a while at least.

IMO it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to risk the life of your $400 amp for an SPL improvement only a mic can hear.
