hello all,
I've been out of the audio game for a while and I just have a quick question:
Right now I have one Profile CA800 bridged at 4 ohms to a Alpine Type R 12" sub (4ohm)
so it's giving it 600w right now. Wired normally, power from battary to 2-way power split going to another amp for the front speakers.
I have another CA800 that I want to put on the sub but i'm not sure how to wire it, like do I have to run another RCA wire from the HU?. I've searched and I know this is a stupid question. I would know nothing about car audio if it wasn't for this board (its been about 3 years) since I was constantly reading these forums about 4-5 times a day( y'all got me through my first system
). And i've just now started to get back in the game.
My next project coming up is going to be ripping out the stock stereo of a lexus sc400 (gonna be fun:crazy
and completely rewire, new system, the works.
Anyways, just wanted to say thank you all for everyone's help, I have learned soo much.
sincerely,
Clint
