Just today, playing normal volumes. My subwoofer is not playing, it does a "crackling noise..."

I don't smell any burnt voice coils.

My amp isn't going into protect, its turning on fine.

So i switch my sub out, place a different sub back in. It still does a "crackling noise"

Any ideas?!?!

Haha! ^^

I switch out the amp, place a DLS A6... Subs plays fine

But not the RF t10001bd, i just bought it recently to! Sonva B*tch!

I talked to elemental designs, since im using their Ed subs... Said it could be the DC Voltage of the rf amp * i dunno*

Stinger Battery in the front, Big 3, Stock Alternator 100amps i believe, 0 gauge to my Fuse D-Block with a 100AMP Fuse, 4 gauge out to my Amps.

Oh ya, got a kintek 800 in the back as well...

Update

I place the RF T10001BD back in, played good for like 20secs... Than the crackling/static noise came back, and a big Alt. Whine....

Took it right back out...

So i place the RF amp, in my brothers car. Crackling noise, samething...

Bottom line, its the RF Amp...

Now i got a turn on thump and off, w/ my other amp... Trying to solve that now... Errr!

But everything plays fine now w/ different amplifier.
