Wired Remote - what does it do?

Hey there

just installed my SAZ 2000d. I have the wired remote, and when i put that in, i realize im not pos what its suppost to do. is it just a bass boost knob or an actual level knob?

because when i turn it up, it only work to about half way, then it sounds as though it is at peak, and when its all the way "down" or "off" there is still a small amout of bass. am i just setting somthing wrong? or do i not understand what it does?

yea it just adjust the output kinda so when u wanna bump a little u just turn that down instead of redoing the gains, same for when u wanna bump hard. mine never made the bass stop completly either. maybe gains set too high idk but mine was more like 25% bass to 100% bass.

I had one that when turned all the way down it was still kind of loud. As I turned it up it got quieter till it shut off 1/3 of the way up. As I kept turning it worked like you think one would and got real loud.

thats weird, i mean ive seen lots of people with vids on youtube, and it seemed like theres worked

but i have an audiocontrol 3.1. and it has a sub knob, and it rocks. goes all the way up, and all the way down. its like bypassing the sub options on the HU. i kinda like. just curious, wanted to make sure i wasn't doing something wrong
