does the type of wiring you use effect the sound quality? like lets say you use off brand rcas compared to stinger rcas or streetwires rcas?
That is twisted RCA's. Shielded has an extra layer of interlaced material to shield the signal wires from interference.any rcas that are shielded. meaning that the inside wires are in a spiral pattern.
It will reduce unwanted noise. I used to have some home rca's to my sub amp, and wasnt ran next to power, it sounded good, but if you run some rca's to a 4 ch, then its a good idea to get shielded since the highs will have more distortion to unproper rca's than the subwoofer. But overall its a good idea to get shielded rca's period.i guess basically is what im getting at is if i had better rcas would it improve the sound quality
