Wire for a AQ1200D

Ok I've got an AQ1200D and a 40x2 chan amp for my highs running off a walmart 4 gauge wire kit, will this, Knu 4 gauge kit, be ok to run my AQ amp alone with for full potential. Cant afford 1/0 now, but two runs of 4 gauge would be fine for maybe 1000 watts right? Thanks

I was just gonna buy one kit and use that solely for the AQ amp. I've got a 4 guage kit on it and another amp now. Its only gonna be run at 2 ohms pulling 850 watts, you don't I'll get by? I don't compete, just a dd.

Unless you're running 20'+, 4 ga is more than sufficient at 2 ohms for the AQ1200d.

If you're 15' or less you're even good at 1 ohm IMO. Yeah, you might drop .3-.4v with the 4 ga at 1200w compared to the .1-.2 on 1/0, but that's going to cost you all of ~30w.

Well I decided to save the new sub for later and just get everything else up to par first.
