Thanks, but that goes to my question of if a capacitor was inserted right after the primary battery but before the isolator if that would help or resolve the issue?

Thanks, I kind of expect the back to draw from the front at start by the nature of the set up. The quetion is, why is this a problem? I would expect if it was serious there would be a ready made work around. Can something be damaged? What are adverse consequences of this? How bad can it really be? GENERALLY how long would it take for the battery to charge back up? Would a capacitor inbetween the batteries help/remedy the issue?

1. No. A capacitor would not help. It would be completely unncessary.

2. Don't get a battery isolator. You don't need it. A battery isolator is only used if you plan on playing music when the car is off. Which is dumb because you still have to start your car every 15-30 minutes to charge the battery. Its a waste. And the low voltage to your amp if you don't monitor it can be dangerous.

3. To wire a battery in parallel just run 1/0 OFC wire from the front positive to the rear batteries positive. And for the negative you should do the same. But if you can't. Then ground the front battery to the frame (should already be done) and do the same for the rear.

(2) I'll just accept that and run with it. But just for simple knowledge, how is it dangerous? If it isnt getting the power it needs, wont it just shut down due to its safety features?

(3) What is the big deal about running the negative back to the primary battery? Is it a matter of that is simply how everyone does it? Is it efficiancy? Safety? I'd like to understand the fundamental reason everyone pushes this way because I don't see it.
