What is “Scott’s Campaign”? Who is Scott, and how does he affect the data reported by the agencies that do the actual border patrol, apprehensions, deportations, etc?

How does he affect the Pew Research data that they’ve been doing since 1979?

How does he affect Census Bureau data that is used to determine all immigration population for the past ~120 years?

These are bullet points that came from fact checking Tim Scott and taking a deep dive into what data was or wasnt collected between the different administrations.

The way these agencies and polling sites are collecting data is inaccurate because during Obama and Trumps administration immigrants weren't being expelled due to COVID.

Also The numbers dont include enforcement data at the entry ports because monthly statistics are not available for Obama’s tenure and most of the Trump administration.

So the charts you are posting that is based off information supplied by border patrol is working off a different set of metrics.

Tim Scott is a senator who has nothing to do with the collection, calculation, analysis, reporting of the data.

The data is gathered and reported by agencies like ICE, CPB, etc, that are actually “boots on the ground”. They are the ones directly dealing with the problem. They don’t take “polls” to see how many illegals they’ve stopped and deported, they write contact reports.
Other agencies (Pew being one of the better known ones) take that information, analyze it, and build statistical reports with it.

So again I’ll ask: What data points are these various agencies, plus the various analysis and compilation groups, changing since 2000 or before to make Trump look bad?

And, how is it that they are doing it yet nobody who is “in the know” has blown the story wide open?

To answer your question, thats not the reason to reopen this thread. I don’t want members to feel timid about discussing topics. As long as they can follow the TOS and not berate other members, I‘m ok with having a thread like this continue. The reason it was closed earlier, is members couldn’t follow simple instructions and didn’t assume action would be taken if they didn’t.
