Wearing a seatbelt is science? I disagree. The science behind the seatbelt was the designing and engineering. Wearing a seatbelt is part of common sense.

The real problem is people who somehow think their personal opinions shape reality, when that’s not the case.
Personal opinions change how you perceive facts (either accept or deny them), but they will never change established fact unless you can change that fact through the scientific method.

I am aware of this but somehow you let it pass right over your head. You can preach it to others but don't recognize that you are being a hypocrite to the fullest.

By reviewing statistics of change over time and of different things that happen in similar situations.
Did you know they can measure what happens to a body in a crash with very repeatable circumstances, and compare what changes occur to when factors like a seatbelt, or airbag, collapsible steering wheel, etc is introduced.
Science is pretty cool.
