I read an article recently where China took 2 particles that were quantum entangled. Kept 1 particle on earth and sent the 2nd particle to space. When they destroyed the particle in space the particle on earth was simultaneously destroyed also. They can communicate in binary code this way. No time gap. No line of sight problems. Even if you’re 4.5 billion light years away, messages would be instant. The level of technology our militaries are amassing is almost beyond comprehension. World war 3 is gonna be fvcking wild.

identity politics is a religion by all metrics except for the god part. That’s why we get horrible democrats like a Joe Biden for president and smart people who still support him. Same with Trump. I am supremely anti religious, but I’m open to the idea of god, just not the traditional magic man in the sky version. Quantum entanglement, light as waves and particles, theoretical physics, etc. actually can support the idea of a creator depending on perspective, but the second that idea becomes a control method it loses all credibility.
I'd say identity politics are more cult than religion.

Liberals often go after Christian religions, yet when it comes to people who aren’t christian, all the sudden they “care about other peoples cultures”. I have no problem going after religion, but democrats are selective of what to hate based on politics. Start going after Muslims on social media and you’ll quickly see my point. Muslims are better “Christian’s” than Christian’s are and far more conservative, yet they are in the D club. That’s curious.
That’s a good point, and why I will clarify my stance if people try to pigeonhole me into a political “party”.

As far as “religion” (broad strike there), anyone can believe anything they want But when they think their belief structure should be used to determine what OTHER people believe and how they act, it’s a problem.

Imagine the GOP being told that Americans should not carry guns because a specific religious group is anti-gun.
Ridiculous?
Americans are already being told they shouldn’t get birth control (or chemical abortive) based on the desires of a specific religious group.

No philosophical difference between the two, even if someone says my analogy is bullshit.
They both regard the rights of our citizens, and those rights being controlled by others based on religious beliefs.

Bad juju, if you ask me.

I can agree mostly. The problem is that all identity groups are trying to control others, not just religion, either through economic coercion or direct laws restricting behavior. Either method gets the job done the same way. I’ve always been a believer in body autonomy. The exact second you enter into this world, your body and what you choose to put in or take out of it is your business. Neither side actually believes that. After discussing vaccines with you, your “I care about body autonomy” arguments kind of falls on deaf ears.

Muslims don’t like gheys and feminists but yet these idiots live in Xanax bubble. If Libs think “an enemy of my enemy is my friend” they are true idiots. If this was the Middle East they would have thrown them off the roof because Sharia Law don’t play.
