IMHO, Trump walked a really tight line. I don't know that he did/said enough to incite the crowd. I'm less concerned about the Jan 6 riots and more concerned about how he set up a scenario that the election would be stolen and his ongoing claims that it has been stolen.

I looked it up and it seems several credible sources (LATimes, Thesaurus.com, etc) say you go with the sound, not the letter or in the case of "you" not the way the letter is being used. So it would be "an youtube video," although to my ear that sounds incorrect. OTOH, "An hour" is correct, but "hour" doesn't sound like it starts with a vowel sound to me.

Good analogy. What bothers me is Trump walked a very fine line and IMHO knew this was a potential outcome. \

Can they proven intent? For example, you can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater. Obviously, you can yell fire if there really is a fire. However, what if you honestly thought there was a fire and there wasn't? In Trump's case, maybe Trump and the yes men he surrounded himself with had him convinced the election was stolen (ie, he thought there was a fire). And that argument comes full circle, why do the neo-cons think Jan 6th was nothing - because they believe the election was stolen (against all evidence). Faith does strange things to ones mind.

When Bush was still in office in Jan of 08, Oil prices collapsed due to the financial crisis and gasoline prices followed. In Jan of 09, just before Obama's inauguration, gas prices fell by almost half from the previous year. 1.74 / gallon. That was the lowest price of Obamas term.

Obamas energy policies did nothing to cause prices to fall.

Trump on the other hand, actually did something to lower gas prices under his term. He influenced it by conning Saudi Arabia into increasing production while letting Iran continue to export oil. Trump was pro-active in trying to keep the cost of fuel down

I paid $1.33 a gallon in January of 2016. Trump benefitted from a pandemic and zero demand on supply. Keep trying. I asked you a simple question and you can't answer it. Why weren't you mad at Trump when gas prices went up from when Obama was in office?
