We have heard this same global market and supply and demand shit in this forum too. This administration, plain and simple, will not accept ANY responsibility and will continue to no end, to blame everything and everyone else for domestic gas prices.

This woman said they have called for an increase in production. He ask who they called, she said domestically. LOL really, after all the canceled leases and restrictions? She also said Oil Executives said shutting down all that was shut down wouldn't affect gas prices. I am willing to bet $1 that those executives did not say that.

So that is their answer to fixing gas prices here at home.... "they made calls". Very proactive of them.

The CDC was actually granted arrest Authority in 2017 IIRC. In that same legislative change the CDC gave Authority to the director of the WHO to declare a pandemic and gives the WHO Authority to intercede and US approval is not needed.

The scary thing about the cdc arrest Authority is there is no judicial requirement it's administrative and they only need reasonable suspicion. So if you come from an area that is experiencing any rates of transmission they can quarantine you without cause and they are allowed to withhold you calling anybody for 48 hours.

I read the federal registry submission at the time and was amazed that it passed. Whats worse the public knew nothing about it.

Those oil leases have been out there for years and years with NO one buying them or trying to drill on the very few they have sold in that time. What is the point of having them up for sale if no company in years is going to lease them? Or drill on the ones they have bought in years? If you think the EPA regulations are the cause then wrong. Just like people are stupid enough to believe it is the EPA as the reason there hasn't been a new oil refinery since 1976 in this country.

Also as state idk how many times. Facts are oil refineries are running at 50-60% capacity and they can run at 90-92% capacity safely. And they refuse to. A few friends of ours that we have talked to directly at a couple oil refineries from a couple companies have told us flat out they will not increase because they are making too much profit right now. If they increase the production then the prices are going to fall and so will their profit. These are people that have done it for 30+ years couple are in executive spots couple others are machinists and a couple others are general maintenance workers.

Face it is on the oil companies now at this point and it is pure greed.

You're 100% right. The oil market is not global. The US is the only seller and buyer on the market and everything about oil happens here and only affects us here. OPEC is fake news and we don't buy any oil from foreign countries.
Nowhere else in the world is experiencing the same energy price increases that we are.
