I have a few Russian friends and we are not doing to them what we think we are. The citizens in Russia would turn against Putin, but what’s happening is that the Russian citizens feel cornered and are actually starting to support Putin out of self preservation. I have a friend in Canada who can’t get calls from his mother or father any more, and when they do try to make an international call outside Russia they get a message that says “go fvck yourselves” on the other end of the phone line. These aren’t Russian oligarchs, they work at a fuel depot. The last thing we need is for the citizens of Russia to start supporting Putin. These people aren’t like us here in America, they’re hardened, tough and maybe even a little crazy.

Do you not understand supply/demand and OPEC cutting back production that was announced in April of 2020 when Trump was in office? And now Russia is trying to start a World War. Add all of those up and you will realize why gas prices are going up. Don't forget about the Arctic freeze that shut down a lot of refineries.

Why didn't Trump set things up properly? HE was the one in charge of the process. HE wrote up all the orders and plans. HE should have made sure it was all finished by the time Biden took office. It was HIS problem, not Biden's.
Why was there a failure? Was he so sure that he'd still be POTUS in 2021 that he left things unresolved? That's some pretty shltty planning, right there.

The cost of oil is set by Putin? I thought you said Biden controlled that, and raised the prices when he got in office. Now it's PUTIN that controls the cost of oil? Again you change your argument to suit your narrative.
